Demo: Split Sample Testing
This clip demonstrates when a specimen is
collected in a CupLab device how CupLab splits the specimen
into two (upper and lower) chambers, and generates a rapid
test result.
The process includes:
- Urine flows into the cup opening (the
only manual step).
- A small volume of urine flows down to
a test chamber at the bottom of the device.
- The urine specimen in the small
chamber contacts the rapid test strips.
- The test strips develop adulterant
test results and drug test results.
- (Not shown) Urine at the test chamber
will NOT flow back into the upper cup chamber, even when
the cup with a lid is inverted.
